Menorca: Archaeology of the Isla del Rey

It is located in the eastern part of the Isla del Rey, in the center of the Port of Maó. The structure of the basilica itself remains very blurred due to the numerous additions it presents, both funerary and domestic.

This means that here, too, we find a monastic-type establishment. At the time it was excavated, it was easier to distinguish the nave of the church by the floor mosaic it presented, very similar to that of Fornàs de Torelló, but it was moved to the Museum of Menorca, where it is currently kept.
